WILTSHIRE LIFE AWARD NOMINATION
We were delighted to learn that following judging, Jeremy Evans, Head of Hockey, has been shortlisted for a 2019 Wiltshire Life Award in the Teacher/Coach of the Year category.
This award will be given to a teacher who goes the extra mile in ensuring children and young people of Wiltshire get the best possible start in life. The judges were looking for someone who has a passion for what they do and puts their pupils and ambitions at the centre of their work. Tim Watts, Director of Sport commented, “This nomination is hugely deserved and we now hope Mr Evans goes on to win the award. This nomination is all down to his huge efforts for all pupils at Warminster School, whether they have a passion for hockey or not, Mr Evans will soon turn them into a hockey player!”
Jeremy, delighted with the news said, “I was delighted to have been nominated for this award and am honoured to have been shortlisted.”
This is a tremendous achievement against tough competition this year – Jeremy is one of three shortlisted for the award. The awards ceremony takes place in March and we wish him the best of luck.
