WHITE RABBITS AND MAD HATTERS

WHITE RABBITS AND MAD HATTERS

It wasn’t only the pupils at Warminster School marking the end of a school year, the Warminster School Parents’ Association hosted another incredible Summer Ball. Guests at the sell-out ‘Mad Hatter’s Summer Ball’,  were welcomed to this event by the White Rabbit  and serenaded by the School’s String Quartet. Guests took the theme to heart with plenty of top-hats and interesting head-gear on display.

The night included a vibrant marquee, wonderful food by the catering department, a complimentary photo booth, music from popular live band ‘The Reason’,  an exciting silent auction and even a rabbit hole entrance. Making this the year that Warminster School climbed into a wardrobe and fell down a rabbit hole!

Chairman, Robin Stone commented, “With many pleasing comments received, we are delighted that everyone enjoyed the evening. Thanks to the Committee for all their hard work in putting this event together and particularly Hayley Arter who planned the décor and coordinated the decorating team. We thought we would struggle to top last year’s hugely popular theme, but we managed to pull it off and are already thinking about next year’s event!”

Head of Development & Alumni, Graeme McQueen said “It was a wonderful evening and great to host former parents and see a number of Old Verlucians in attendance. The WSPA really know how to put on a good bash – we look forward to next year!”

Science Teacher, Tamasine Reynolds agreed, “Thank you to the Ball Committee for organising such an enjoyable evening for parents, staff, Old Verlucians and friends of the School. The food was fantastic and the band was brilliant. The marquee looked incredible and it was a great way to wind down after a busy term.”
