There are just under 250 non-teaching and teaching staff at Warminster, all committed to the well-being and education of our pupils. Our staff are valued and take pride in whatever their particular role provides for our community. All staff take a full role in the School, within our community and are committed to all areas of life at Warminster, including boarding and the co-curricular. Whether that is supporting a weekend fixture, a drama production, a concert or volunteering at a WSPA event.

Additionally, professional development is a significant area which we invest in. We have a dedicated Professional Development Department who enthusiastically promote and deliver CPD, including leadership programmes, for everyone that works at Warminster.

    We are looking to recruit a creative and energetic teacher for this successful department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher of Drama and Theatre Studies. Drama is a core strength of the School and recent productions have included A Monster Calls, Mary Poppins, The Lion King and The Comedy of Errors, as well as participation in the ‘Shakespeare in Schools’ Festival and NT Connections. This summer, there is a lower-school production of James and the Giant Peach. Plays are also regularly taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The successful candidate will have high standards, energy, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership potential and an infectious passion for the subject. There will be real opportunity to help develop the department and their own teaching.

    Warminster School seeks to appoint an innovative and well-qualified teacher to inspire pupils across the age range in the senior school (Years 7-13). The School prepares pupils for GCSE German as well as German Literature as part of the IB Diploma. Pupils in the Lower School also opt for German as one of their MFL subjects. The successful candidate will have high standards, energy, excellent interpersonal skills and an infectious passion for the subject. The post would suit either a newly qualified or experienced teacher.
