    We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to work in our busy Estates Department, to carry out general maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep of the School buildings and grounds.

    Full Time position - 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 52 weeks per year.

    Salary £21,174 per annum.

    Warminster School seeks to appoint an innovative and well-qualified Creative Arts Graduate Assistant with the ability to inspire pupils across the age range (Years 3-U6).

    Embracing Warminster’s holistic approach to education and learning, the role will include working across both the Prep and Senior School, assisting with both class-based lessons and co-curricular activities, which may include exhibitions, educational visits and Drama productions.

    The successful candidate will assist and contribute positively in the delivery of high-quality Art, Drama and Photography lessons and a full co-curricular programme in these disciplines to pupils from Years 3-Upper Sixth. Specific duties will include:

    • Administrative duties within the three department as directed by the Head of Art, Director of Drama and Head of Photography. • Assistance with exhibitions – both in our new Art Gallery and with external exhibitions. • Assistance with directing and producing Drama productions, including musicals. • Assistance with the organisation and maintenance of the dark room.

    Accommodation will be provided within a Boarding House, linked to this role.

    The post also offers the opportunity to gain valuable pastoral experience whilst assisting in the running of a boarding house. This responsibility will include evening and weekend duties during term time for which an appropriate amount of time off will be allocated. Duties will involve supervision of boarders and the overseeing of bedtime and morning routines as well as other duties as directed by the Housemaster/mistress.

    We are looking for mini bus drivers to transport pupils on an ad hoc basis. Previous experience is essential. The successful candidate will be required to undertake safeguarding training, complete an enhanced DBS check and hold a full clean licence with a D1.
