    Warminster School seeks to appoint an innovative and well-qualified teacher to inspire pupils across the age range in Years 7-13 and to lead this important department. The department prepares pupils for GCSE PE as well as the OCR Cambridge Technical in Sport. The successful candidate will have high standards, energy, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership potential and an infectious enthusiasm for the subject and for sport.

    This position offers considerable opportunity to a creative and ambitious leader and would be an excellent position for someone looking for their first head of department appointment. The post-holder will work closely with the Director of Sport. The ability to coach cricket to a good level would be an advantage.

    We require two Graduate Assistants for Years 1-6 (Prep) and two for Years 7-U6 (Senior) to work in our PE Department.

    The Senior School requires students to work in the PE Department, helping with both boys and girls PE and Games, assisting with the day to day running of a busy Department, helping with the teaching of lessons, fixtures and co-curricular activities.

    In Prep, the students will also support a Key Stage 2 class in addition to assisting with the PE and Games provision.

    In addition, the successful applicants will be involved in the pastoral life of the School, living and working in one of the boarding houses at Warminster.

    The successful applicants will be working in the PE/Games Department during the working day, involved in the fixtures programme on Saturdays, and on duty in one of the boarding houses some evenings and weekends. In Prep, the role is combined with classroom support along with PE and Games sessions, and weekend fixtures. The successful applicants will also be required to coach at least two from: Athletics, Cricket, Hockey, Netball and Rugby from Year 1 through to the Upper Sixth.

    We are looking for an innovative, energetic and reflective Learning Support Teaching Assistant to be a part of our team. The successful candidate will have experience of working with Key Stage 1 & 2 pupils with specific learning needs. Relevant qualifications and experience in delivering specific programmes such as ESLA would be an advantage. The role will involve one to one support for a specific pupil as well as individual support lessons to range of other pupils.

    15hrs per week Monday to Friday term time only (£4,951).
