COOK
We are looking for a reliable, efficient, and organised full time School Cook to assist in the cooking and preparation of food to school standards. The successful applicant will support the Head Chef and Catering Team in our busy kitchens.
The hours are more sociable than industry standard with the later shifts generally finishing by 7.30pm except for when catering for school or external functions. Due to the nature of working in a busy boarding school, the department works across seven days. During term time cooks/chefs prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner and cater for internal and external functions. The School also supplies local primary schools and nurseries with lunches during term time. During non-term time the team prepare meals for residential lettings, sporting events and external functions.
Full Time: Regular shift pattern to include both evenings and weekends (8 hours per day; 48 hours per week; 52 weeks a year)
Salary: £27,156 per annum
