We are looking for a reliable, efficient, and organised full time chef to assist in the cooking and preparation of food to school standards on weekend shifts. The successful applicant will support the Head Chef and Catering Team in the running of the busy kitchens. The hours are more sociable than industry standard with the later shifts generally finishing by 7.30pm except for when catering for school or external functions. Due to the nature of a boarding school, the department works across seven days. During term time chefs prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner and cater for internal and external functions. The School also supplies local primary schools and nurseries with lunches during term time. During non-term time the team prepare meals for residential lettings, sporting events and external functions.

Hours: Regular shift pattern to include both evenings and weekends (8 hours per day; 48 hours per week; 52 weeks a year)

Salary: £11.59 per hour (subject to review, depending on experience)
