Under 11 cricketers have their “chance to shine”
Our keen Under 11 cricketers recently took part in an ECB Chance to Shine tournament in Swindon. They played indoors under similar rules to Kwik Cricket. There were eight in each team, with every player batting in a pair and bowling an over.
Warminster played three matches against primary schools and won all three! The scores were as follows:
- Wanborough 243-6, Warminster 270-3
- Oaksey 238-1, Warminster 260-0
- St Mary's RC 223-2, Warminster 239-0
The girls were delighted to be playing cricket and all provided some great batting, bowling and fielding. Well done to all those involved:
