A TOTAL WIPEOUT!

On Sunday 20th May 2018, Ivy House went to the New Forest Aqua Park for our annual House trip.
It was a lovely, sunny day and with the help of our wet suits the water was warm. We arrived to a view of green and yellow inflatables surrounded by luscious greenery. We had a quick snack and drink on the grass before heading to collect our wetsuits, life jackets and receive a brief safety talk. We walked to the gate, showed our pink wrist bands to the life guard and jumped in to the lake. It was a race to the start!
We climbed onto the platform and hit our first obstacle knowing there were many more to come. We were all carefully looking out for Mr Crinion hoping he wouldn’t push us in! The course held so many different types of inflatables and obstacles, just like Total Wipepout! After an action packed hour of fun, we headed back to the mini-bus for a 5 minute drive up the road to a campsite called Sandy Balls, where we were booked to have our dinner. We saw alpacas walking by as we headed to the restaurant! We were seated with each other and felt like one big family, laughing and sharing the stories of our day, whilst we ate our delicious dinner.
We would like to thank Mr and Mrs Crinion, Mrs Bob, Mrs Bell and Miss Sen for an amazing House Trip and hope that we can go again.
