TOP TEN SMALL COHORT INDEPENDENT IB SCHOOL

TOP TEN SMALL COHORT INDEPENDENT IB SCHOOL

We are celebrating Warminster’s top ten position in the 2017 Small Cohort Independent IB Schools League Tables.

Our pupils’ excellent results have placed the school in the top ten of the small cohort IB League Table, published on www.IB-schools.eu

Dr Matthew Harris, IB Coordinator said, “As IB Coordinator, I am delighted to hear that Warminster School has been recognised as a top 10 independent small cohort IB school in 2017. With a score of 31 comfortably above the world average and a 100% diploma pass rate for the May 2017 session, I am very proud of our pupils. Among these pupils, a number went on to study top courses such as PPE and Engineering at Russell Group universities, including Warwick and Edinburgh, showing the strength of results obtained by pupils here at Warminster School. In 2017, Warminster School also became authorised to run the IB Career-Related Programme alongside the Diploma Programme, with pupils already studying for this new qualification. Therefore, with recognition for great results, top university destinations and a new programme to offer, the IB is going places at Warminster School.”

Mark Mortimer, Headmaster at Warminster School echoed his views, “I am delighted that the IB Programme at Warminster School has been rewarded in this way. While I am, of course, very pleased that our pupils’ average score once again exceeded the world average, what matters to me more is the fact that every single pupil passed the IB. I am very proud of each of them and of all the teachers who taught, advised and supported them so painstakingly.”
