As part of our strong professional development programme, we will be hosting our annual TeachMeet for teachers and academic staff across the region, on Thursday 10th October 2019 – 5.45pm-7.30pm in Thomas Arnold Hall (doors open at 5.15pm).
Our theme this year is 'Pupil-Led Progress – promoting engagement through inspiration' where we will celebrate pupil engagement in lessons and share ideas on providing even more opportunities for this through teacher-presentations. Our TeachMeet evening have always been full of varied activities, we have had everything from QR Scanning in class to Skype sessions in France!
Seb Morris, a Year 13 Warminster pupil, will open the evening, by speaking to educators about his own engagement with the Sixth Form EPQ Programme, run by teacher, Kat Maclaren, and will emphasise the importance of these opportunities for pupils in preparing for life beyond school.
