Biology is the study of life. An interest in life is natural for humans and this is what we hope to foster in our pupils. Biologists attempt to understand the living world at all levels from within the cell to the dynamics within ecosystems. We want our pupils to understand through relating structure and form to function. Theory is supported by an experimental approach.
Our aim is to foster a fascination and interest in living things. Our target is to develop an understanding and appreciation of biological knowledge, the biological world and the human impact on the environment.
