Senior School publish morning

Senior School publish morning

On Saturday 4th October we were pleased to welcome visitors to Warminster School for our open morning. Visitors enjoyed a full tour of the School rounded off by speeches from the Headmaster and School Captains. The morning was also an opportunity for pupils to develop key “soft skills” such as team working, creative thinking and leadership skills.  Many of the activities were centred around the topic of Stonehenge and included: a scientific investigation of the type of stone used; the construction of the monument; proposals for relieving the traffic congestion; and tourist information.

Other activities on this busy morning included rehearsals for Anything Goes, a sports challenge in the Sports Hall, a version of Dragon's Den in the English Department and Dr Who in Weymouth House!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and we hope to see you again at our next open morning.
