SELL OUT HOCKEY CAMP
Warminster School’s brand new hockey facility was put into action with a sold out residential and day hockey camp towards the end of the summer.
Over 60 children attended the four day camp with 19 different local schools represented. The camp had its usual fun and games comprising of sliding deflections on the soaked giant tarpaulin, masterclasses in specific skills, mini games, rugby pad game, obstacle course and the infamous Road to Wembley tournament. The camp ended with an eight team tournament, tea and the usual fantastic cakes laid on for parents. Alfred from Forres Sandle Manor team and Jai from Warminster Prep team both took joint honours. All the players went home inspired and tired from a busy 4 days on the pitch.
We look forward to our official opening on Saturday 15 September, when we welcome Jo Hunter, Great Britain and England Hockey player to Warminster.
