PRESTIGIOUS APPOINTMENT AS LORD LIEUTENANT’S CADET

Our Contingent’s senior cadet, Colour Serjeant Matthew Hodgson, was officially appointed Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet during a ceremony at Trowbridge County Hall in October. According to Matthew, “…it was an incredible experience and I am extremely excited and honoured to be appointed. I can’t wait to be involved with the events”.
Lord Lieutenant’s Cadets are appointed annually by the Sea Cadets Corps, the Army Cadet Force and the Air Training Corps for their outstanding contribution to their respective Cadet Units and support the Lord Lieutenant on special occasions such as Royal visits, Remembrance Services and ceremonial occasions.
Matthew is one of three cadets in Wiltshire to secure this prestigious role and we are immensely proud of his achievement. We look forward to following his journey this year as he represents our CCF, Warminster School and the wider cadet organisation.
