Operation Christmas Child shoebox appeal
Once again Warminster School has collected shoe boxes and filling them as part of Samaritan Purse's Operation Christmas Child, coordinated by Mrs Sarah-Ann Howes in the Senior School and Mrs Jenny Howerd in the Prep School, with the assistance from Lower Sixth pupils. The whole school has shown a great enthusiasm towards the operation with tutor groups working hard to try to collect the most boxes!
In total the School collected 295 boxes and they have been sent off to the Operation Christmas Child warehouse in Westbury where they are checked and packed onto pallets of twenty large boxes, each containing ten shoe boxes. The boxes are heading all around the world, with destinations including Africa and Albania.
Warminster School enjoyed supporting this worthy cause and hopes that each shoebox brings joy to the recipient.
