On Saturday, December 8th, for me, the Christmas celebrations begin with the annual Year 11 Michaelmas Dinner. The Year 11 pupils, as is now the tradition, were joined by staff, tutors and the School Prefects for the annual Year 11 Michaelmas Dinner.
It took place in a gorgeously decked Thomas Arnold Hall, which in turn, enhanced the festive atmosphere of the evening with its red and white winter colour theme and beautifully decorated Christmas tree. This complemented the glamorous dresses of the elegant ladies and the handsomely attired gentlemen of Year 11. The evening consisted of a delicious dinner with plenty of chatter and fun, with many photos taken throughout the evening to capture the moments and memories. The evening’s proceedings were drawn to a close once the music died down and the dancing finished. The Year 11 pupils, the Prefects and the staff were all in agreement: it was a wonderful evening!
