THOMAS ARNOLD LECTURE: HARRY PARKER - THE ANATOMY OF A SOLDIER

THE ANATOMY OF A SOLDIER

We are delighted to announce that Harry Parker will join us as part of the Thomas Arnold Lecture Series.

Harry Parker grew up in Wiltshire. He was educated at Radley College, Falmouth College of Art and University College London. He joined the British Army when he was 23 and served in Iraq in 2007 and Afghanistan in 2009 as a Captain. He is now a writer and artist and lives in London.

Harry will discuss what it means to be a veteran of post 9/11 conflict and the challenge of writing about those experiences.

Although this event is free, booking is essential to secure a place. Please contact Jenni Blair on 01985 210101 or [email protected] if you wish to attend. We recommend an early response; places are issued on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
