It wasn’t only the pupils at Warminster School marking the end of a school year, the Warminster School Parents’ Association hosted another enchanting Summer Ball. Guests at the ‘Midsummer Ball’,  were welcomed to this event by glasses of chilled fizz and fine tunes by Susie Parrack and her guest band for the evening Oberon's Fairies.  Guests took the theme to heart with plenty of sparkle, flowers and fairy wings on display.

The night included a midsummer marquee, wonderful food by the catering department, a complimentary photo booth, back by popular demand – live band ‘The Reason’,  and an exciting silent auction and raffle.

Outgoing Chairman, Robin Stone commented, “Thanks to the Committee for all their hard work in putting this event together and particularly Hayley Arter who planned the décor with military presicion and coordinated her small decorating army!”

Head of Development & Alumni, Graeme McQueen said “Once again it was a wonderful evening and great to host and see a good number of Old Verlucians in attendance. The WSPA do a fantastic job of putting on great events for the entire school community – a great evening for parents, staff, Old Verlucians and friends of Warminster.

Parent, Mrs Holtom agreed, “What an evening! The marquee looked wonderful, the buffet was top notch (especially the strawberries) and we danced and danced to the fabulous band. Thanks to the WSPA, catering team and staff for a great welcome.”

The Summer Ball Committee would like to acknowledge and thank everyone for their support.
