LOVE IS IN THE AIR
Earlier this week Little Fledglings Toddler Group held a “love in” to celebrate Valentine’s Day! The activities on offer included decorating heart-shaped biscuits, painting giant pink hearts and enjoying beautiful pink glittery playdough. The latter proved to be a great hit with adults who enjoyed either a calming, sensory experience or the opportunity to work off a little pent-up stress! In our baby sensory room we had one station filled with chiffon scarves, fabric rose petals and soft pink fleece, whilst the other held wooden hearts and building blocks.
Gill Cross, Head of Early Years commented, “I am delighted that Little Fledglings has gone from strength to strength and become very popular with parents. We have a themed session every week and look forward to a baby massage and Mother's Day Special session later this term. Parents look forward to the weekly catch up with each other and the little ones enjoy the activities on offer. Little Fledglings is really adding to our family atmosphere here at Warminster Prep.”
Little Fledglings takes place every Wednesday (10:00-11:30) in the Courtyard Nursery during term time. A wonderful opportunity to meet parents and carers over a cup of coffee whilst toddlers enjoy the different activities on offer. Activities on offer each week include a baby sensory room, painting, play dough, dressing up, construction toys and outdoor play. Sessions end with a circle time sing-song.
