Welcome to Stratton!

Stratton is a Sixth Form co-ed boarding houses.

With carefully divided accommodation, providing separate sleeping wings for girls and boys, shared communal areas, and set up similar to a hall of residence at university, where pupils can cook, eat and relax together with carefully agreed boundaries and supervision, Stratton provides our young people with valuable opportunities to develop healthy and positive relationships in a safe environment.

At various times throughout the year Stratton enjoy the usual House activities: the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Summer BBQ, outdoor cinema nights, colour runs, film & pizza nights, as well as the ever-popular pancake evenings. Everyone looks forward to our Boarding Christmas Dinner when the Prefects award the hilarious and much coveted Paper Plate Awards. Our Stratton pupils work hard, but also enjoy down time with the various Townroe Sixth Form events too!

Housemaster, Adam Lea, works together with our Matron, Mrs Bridgwater, looks after the administrative side of the house during the school day. She is much loved by the girls and boys, and there is virtually no question she can’t answer!

Stratton House is a home from home – we look forward to welcoming you to see for yourselves.
