St Monica is located in a quiet corner of our campus, in the ‘boarding village’ and benefits from its own private outdoor recreational area of beautiful lawns and a stream, where pupils have the opportunity to socialise with friends or play. The garden contains a trampoline and a table tennis table as well as a range of garden games. Facilities within the house include a computer room, large common rooms and a well-resourced social area with good sized cooking area.

Housemistress Jess Horner, and her able assistant Woody, her popular canine companion, provide our young people with the care and support to thrive in this genuine family-feel boarding house. Together, the St Monica team work hard to make sure everyone is happy as possible, as it is the School’s and the House’s belief that pastoral happiness and comfort are indelibly linked with academic success. “Welcome to St Monica! I am Miss Horner, and I am the Housemistress. I am helped in the house by our wonderful matron, Ms Santana, and the fantastic Miss Baker. We also have a team of brilliant house tutors, who you will get to know very quickly. Woody the dog is also very helpful… especially when we drop toast crumbs!”

Please make contact with us as soon as you can to book a tour of the House. We look forward to welcoming you!
