St Boniface House was founded in the 1800’s and was originally a Missionary College, this beautiful neo-gothic building at the heart of our school provides a wonderful boarding experience with cosy common rooms as well as use of the impressive Boniface Hall.  The House comes into its own during the summer months, but equally too during Winter Term. The Boniface Christmas feast is legendary!

Led by Jeremy Evans, our hugely enthusiastic Head of Hockey and teacher of Design Technology. Jeremy has almost 10 years’ experience as Assistant Housemaster of St Boniface. Jeremy is joined by his partner Julia Farley (an English teacher at Warminster) and her two sons, to provide a truly family orientated boarding experience. Jacky Page is the Assistant Housemistress and Debbie Evans continues to provide excellent pastoral care (and regular baking!) in her role as Matron.

The house staff have regular contact with pupils both during the school day and in the evenings; good relations are cemented through the fun and cheerful competiveness of regular house trips, quiz nights and house suppers; some of which are held in St Boniface Hall. The Hall forms part of the House and is used daily by the boys. The Hall is used for formal dinners, film nights, discos with Ivy House and the boys have easy access to a large interior space where they can play music, table tennis or rehearse a play.

There is a Prefect system within the House and the Prefects play a very important role assisting the staff on duty and also helping with the younger boys settle into boarding life. They are encouraged to have an active role in how the house is run as well as contributing to house activities.

The House facilities include a modern, well equipped kitchen, two common rooms with televisions and games consoles, a computer room a laundry room and some lovely lawns, with a fantastic backdrop. There is also a secluded wing of single rooms at the top of the House for Sixth Formers – affectionally known as Chapel End which comes with its own small snug. The Sixth Formers also have access to one of the smartest common rooms in the School, The Bonnell Room – named after a previous Housemaster. The boys’ rooms all vary in size, from a four-bed dormitory to single rooms. Needless to say in a building with this history, no two rooms are the same and it is very Hogwarts-esque! The house has modern private bathroom/shower facilities and WiFi is provided throughout the house.

“We are fortunate to live in the building that is normally the first view visitors get of Warminster School.  As well as living in the most attractive building in school, we also benefit from using the beautiful Boniface Hall and having the best views across the grounds. We welcome you to Boniface and to our family”. Jeremy Evans
