The School community has come together to kick-start fundraising for our brilliant school photographer, Jon Edkins and his family.
Jon's 14 year old son William suffers from Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy and requires round-the-clock care. Jon and his wife are trying to raise £40,000 to help adapt their home to support William. Having heard about the fund-raising campaign, many staff and pupils are very keen to help, a mark of the affection and respect we all have for Jon, and the School is holding a fund-raising day on 4 July, as well as a number of events over the next 12 months. On 4 July, there will be a mufti day for pupils and a tea on School House lawn between 3.15– 4.00p.m. organised by Alex Rall and all pupils, staff and parents are warmly invited to attend.
Using William's Crowdfunding page and organising various fundraising events, we hope to help raise some of the much needed funds.
