IAPS FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP

IAPS FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP

On Saturday 13th May, eight brave fencers set off for Millfield Prep School to take part in the IAPS Fencing Championship.  The children have learnt a great deal over the last year and have been taking part in various events to gain experience, and this was another great event for them to improve their fencing skills.

I was delighted with the passion, potential and enthusiasm for this wonderful sport.  Our brilliant coach, Rob Bruniges (Former junior world champion) came with us to the event and was so helpful to every child.

All eight pupils won at least two bouts and made it into the second round of the play offs and one of our fencers was medalled.
