High Five Netball Festival
Warminster Prep recently hosted a High Five Netball Festival for local primary schools. The weather was bright and sunny but a little on the cold side. However, this did not seem to affect the enjoyment of any of the eighty children who attended.
Eight local primary schools were involved, some bringing more than one team. There were twelve teams in all, divided into two sections. Each school played five matches and none of the scores were recorded. Coaching from the sidelines was encouraged and praise was given for working hard and improving. Warminster umpired the proceedings.
The schools that took part were:
- Crockerton
- Dilton Marsh
- Heytesbury
- Minster
- Princecroft
- St George’s
- St John’s, Trowbridge
- Warminster Prep
Overall it was a wonderful event, and one we look forward to hosting again in the future. The hot dogs and cake for tea were also a great hit!
