FESTIVE SPIRIT FOR YEAR 11
The annual Year 11 Michaelmas Dinner took place on Saturday the 2nd of December. The elegant young ladies looked glamorous in their gowns and the handsomely attired gentlemen, looked very debonair in their black ties.
The Headmaster, Senior Staff, Year 11 Tutors and the School Prefects joined the Year 11s for the Dinner. The Thomas Arnold Hall was tastefully decorated with a stylish gold and silver colour theme; a splendid venue for the superb and delicious dinner. During the meal, the atmosphere was buzzing from the sound of gentle chatter and fun at each table, in stark contrast to the energy of the music of the disco that followed!
The evening’s proceedings were brought to a close once the music died down and the dancing ceased. The Year 11 pupils, the Prefects and the staff agreed: it was a wonderful evening.
