Batting awards for Warminster cricketers
In the recent Wiltshire League Youth Batting Awards, Warminster pupils Edward Vickery (Year 7) and Sean Bailey (Year 9) topped their respective age groups with their batting averages.
In the Under 11 section, Edward, for Corsham CC, scored 267 runs at an average at 66.8, including four fifties. Meanwhile, in the Under 13 section, Sean, for South Wilts CC, scored 439 runs at an average of 87.8.
Congratulations to both boys on an exceptional summer of cricket.
