Roaring Twenties

Roaring Twenties

Once again the Warminster School Parents’ Association hosted a fantastic event for the School community. The sell-out ‘Speakeasy Summer Ball’, a glitzy affair transporting everyone back to the time of prohibition and unlawful parties was a roaring success.  Guests took the theme to heart and dressed the part.

The night included the School Jazz Band, another delicious feast from Alex Rall, a complimentary photo booth, live music from the Guy Rogers Duo, an exciting silent auction with bidders battling for a London Recording Studio Day and even a cell for those not observing the rules of prohibition. Thank you to the Ball Committee for organising such an enjoyable evening for parents, staff and friends. With many pleasing comments such as, ‘the best yet’  the Committee have a difficult task to better the event next year!

Catherine Wilson agreed, “We had a fabulous evening! The whole theme was enhanced by the fabulous dresses and feathers, making the evening one of great fun.  Well done to the WSPA for organising such a great Summer Ball!”
