Studying abroad is a daunting prospect, but at Warminster School our overseas pupils are fully integrated to ensure that they become active members of the school community right from the start. They are welcomed into the same boarding houses, the same competitive houses and the same tutor groups as every other pupil in the school.
There is a strong pastoral care framework in place to help all pupils with any issues they may face during their time here. Our houseparents provide invaluable support to boarders, and form tutors are on hand to help with any academic concerns. The Health Centre also plays a vital role in keeping pupils happy and healthy while they are away from home.
We embrace pupils from all countries and believe that our school community of 30 different nationalities provides a great opportunity for pupils and staff alike to learn more about the many cultures represented in the School.
In order to cope with the academic and social demands of the School, pupils should be reasonable English speakers. Tuition in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is provided to all pupils for whom English is not their first language. There is an additional charge for these lessons.
Our aim is to encourage applications from candidates with as diverse a range of backgrounds as possible. This enriches our community and is vital in preparing our pupils for today’s world. Warminster School is committed to equal treatment for all, regardless of a candidate’s race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or social background.
