Studying abroad can be a daunting prospect, but at Warminster our international pupils are fully integrated to ensure they become active members of the School community right from the start.
There is a strong pastoral care framework in place to help all pupils with any issues they may face during their time here. Our houseparents provide invaluable support to boarders, and form tutors are on hand to help with any academic concerns. The Health Centre also plays a vital role in keeping pupils happy and healthy while they are away from home.
We embrace pupils from all countries and believe that our school community of approximately 25 different nationalities provides a great opportunity for pupils and staff alike to learn more about the many cultures represented in the School.
Our aim is to encourage applications from candidates with as diverse a range of backgrounds as possible. This enriches our community and is vital in preparing our pupils for today’s world. Warminster School is committed to equal treatment for all, regardless of a candidate’s race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or social background. If needed, tuition in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) is provided to all pupils for whom English is not their first language. (There is an additional charge for these lessons).
Some of our international pupils opt to learn with us for one year initially, studying the Pre-IB/One Year GCSE and often stay on for Sixth Form.
There is also the option to try our extremely popular immersive educational course (Summer Short Stay) at Warminster during June and July each year. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience UK boarding life, possibly with a view to extend your stay. Places are in demand, so please see the attached programmes for full details and availability.
