The Sixth Form welcomes students from a broad range of backgrounds which reflects our status as an IB World School. The School offers its Sixth Formers the chance to choose between studying either for the International Baccalaureate Diploma or following a traditional A Level programme. A wide variety of subjects is offered in each. Pupils come to us from a wide range of educational systems but must have demonstrated a potential to achieve well in an A Level or IB Diploma programme.
Applications for entry into the Sixth Form are accepted throughout the year. An offer of a place in the Sixth Form will usually be conditional on the candidate achieving at least five GCSE passes at grade C or above (5 or above on the new GCSEs), with a minimum B grade in subjects that the pupil wishes to study (6 or above on the new GCSE). Candidates will be expected to meet with either the Headmaster or the Head of Sixth Form for an informal interview.
