WEYMOUTH WASHOUT

WEYMOUTH WASHOUT

On Saturday 22nd September, Ivy House went on our annual trip to Weymouth. It was a cold, miserable morning but with all the music and laughter on the buses we soon cheered up and quickly arrived at our destination. We went into the hotel, loving the warmth and were allocated our rooms. Soon after, we got into groups and headed into town to have some fun with all of our friends. After walking around for a couple of hours, we were ready to eat some delicious fish and chips at a new restaurant that was only a street away. We devoured our food enjoying every bite. After our meal, we went to an arcade where screams and laughs filled the atmosphere. Time flew by and it was time to go to bed, sadly knowing that the next day was our last in Weymouth.

Sunday the 23rd came by and we all were excited for the adventures ahead. We filled our stomachs with some scrumptious food and then Mrs Crinion gave the long-awaited announcement of Head of House and House Prefects. We were all supportive and proud of each other! Afterwards, even though the sky was grey we were determined to get some beach photos before we left to go to Splashdown and Hollywood Bowl.

When we got there we had lots of fun with the activities we took part in and were thankful for the lunch Mrs Bob had prepared to set us on our journey back. Despite the absolutely terrible weather we Ivy House girls never let the rain hold us back from having lots and lots of fun!
