A MONSTER CALLS
A Monster Calls
This term’s production, to be staged at the The Athenæum in Warminster, is an adaption of Patrick Ness’ ‘A Monster Calls’, one of the great young adult fiction novels of our time, a devastating articulation of the fury that comes with grief.
Thirteen-year-old Conor and his mum have managed just fine since his dad moved away. But now his mum is sick and not getting any better. His grandmother won't stop interfering and the kids at school won't look him in the eye. Then, one night, Conor is woken by something at his window. A monster has come walking. It's come to tell Conor tales from when it walked before. And when it's finished, Conor must tell his own story and face his deepest fears.
The production runs from 14th to 16th November at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £8.00 adults and £6.00 concessions. All Warminster pupils are entitled to one free ticket and all tickets will be available to book online on Firefly.
