A FANTASTIC DISPLAY
What a fantastic start to the 2017-2018 School year and a busy one at that!
Since the beginning of term, the WSPA has joined in the festivities of the Prep School Rugby Festival, co-hosted a wonderful evening of ‘back to school’ drinks with the Headmaster, chatted to parents at the October Open Morning, frightened our own Prep ghouls and goblins with a Halloween Disco and have now rolled into the second half of term with a ‘bang’ by hosting our annual Fireworks Festival – our biggest one yet! Thank you to all our volunteers – on the gate, flipping burgers or running a games stall, it was a fabulous evening for all.
With barely a moment to catch our breath, we plan to keep you all on your toes with even more events to keep you entertained leading up to the end of term and the festivities of the holidays. Still to come:
Saturday 2nd December – WSPA Christmas Fayre – 10am to 2pm
As always, our sports hall will be filled with the joy of the holiday spirit: beautiful gifts and crafts from a numbers of vendors and our choirs filling the hall with the sounds of Christmas cheer. Don’t forget that Santa and his reindeer will be in his grotto for all those who have been good this year!
Saturday 9th December – WSPA Christmas Dinner & Dance – 7pm to midnight
A great way to finish off the year! Black Tie party night with DJ, Christmas buffet with all the trimmings and for good boys and girls, a special appearance from Father Christmas. Please confirm ticket requirements with Emma Brumby before 30th November. The Committee look forward to welcoming you to Boniface Hall for festive pre-dinner drinks at 7.00pm.
Finally, I would like to thank everyone for the support we have received. To have so many parents, staff and pupils readily volunteer for these events is nothing more than an exemplary example of the wonderful community we have here at Warminster School. However, no need to worry if you haven’t joined in the fun yet, there is plenty more to come. Send us an email, stop by at an event or grab us at a fixture; we are thrilled to have more parents joining us every week. Besides, the more the merrier and it is the holiday season after all.
We look forward to sharing our upcoming events with you.
