Steeped in over 300 years of historical tradition and set in a stunning 60-acre campus in the heart of the south west of England, Warminster is truly a community spirited thriving boarding and day school offering an exceptional all-round education to pupils from 2-18. We offer both A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Sixth Form, as well as being one of few schools to offer the IB Career-related programme.

There are just over 240 non-teaching and teaching staff at Warminster, all committed to the well-being and education of our pupils. All staff take a full role in the School, within our community and are committed to all areas of life at Warminster, including boarding and the co-curricular. Whether supporting a weekend fixture, a drama production, a concert or volunteering at a WSPA event.

We have a dedicated Professional Development Department who enthusiastically promote and deliver CPD, including leadership programmes, for everyone that works at Warminster.

We have our own salary scale, and other great staff benefits, including staff remission on school fees. There may be accommodation available for some roles.

  • HEAD OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

    For September 2024 (full or part-time)

    Warminster School seeks to appoint an innovative and well-qualified Head of Department to teach and inspire pupils across the age range in the senior school (Years 7-U6) and to lead this important department during an exciting phase of development. The successful candidate will have high standards, energy, excellent interpersonal skills, good communication and an infectious passion for the subject. There will be real opportunity to help develop the department and their own teaching as well as creating close links to our own Prep School. The post-holder would be an invaluable member of the School’s EdTech committee, a varied and passionate group currently looking at AI use across the School and at the potential for launching a device policy in the foreseeable future.

    Salary range: £26,788 – £44,415 (plus HoD allowance)

  • SECOND i/c MATHEMATICS

    September 2024

    Warminster School seeks to appoint an innovative and well-qualified teacher to inspire pupils across the Years 7-U6 age range.

    The department prepares pupils for IGCSE, A Level and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Experience of the IB is not essential, and training will be provided if required. The successful candidate will have high standards, energy, excellent interpersonal skills, leadership potential and an infectious passion for the subject. There will be real opportunity to help develop the department and their own teaching. The Second i/c Maths will work with the Head of Maths to lead and manage the department and specific responsibilities will depend on the areas of interests of the appointed candidate.

    Salary: £26,788 – £44,415 (plus a responsibility allowance )

    Salary: £26,788 – £44,415
