Here at Warminster we organise a series of popular talks for our community throughout the year.

As part of our ‘TA TALKS’ The School and wider community are provided with access to fascinating and thought-provoking speakers from a diverse range of careers and backgrounds who share their interests and expertise.

Speakers have included Lord Peter Hennessy, a leading historian and political scientist, Michael Eavis the founder of the Glastonbury Festival,  Sir Hayden Philips, a leading civil servant and Chris Lubbe, the former ANC activist and Nelson Mandela’s bodyguard.

Lectures conclude with a Q&A session, time to meet the speaker and post-lecture discussions over drinks and canapés.

For upcoming lectures, please check here. Suggestions or volunteers to speak as part of this programme are most welcome. Please contact the organiser, Laura Gibson

Talks are usually held at 7.30pm in either the Thomas Arnold Hall or Boniface Hall, and booking is essential to secure a place. We recommend an early response as places are issued on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
