The mission of the History and Politics Department is to develop, encourage and nurture, through consistently excellent and effective teaching and learning, academically curious and independently-minded pupils, with a life-long love of learning history and politics, within a focused, inspiring and supportive teaching and learning environment.

We take an active approach to teaching and learning, encouraging students to think, evaluate, develop and share their ideas. History students at Warminster School certainly take note of Flaubert’s warning, and we openly question the major debates of our time.
