Warminster Senior school ski trip to Saalbach Hinterglemm 2008

The Senior School ski trip party arrived at the Sonnegg Hotel in Saalbach Hinterglemm and were very fortunate to have had some of the best powder snow conditions for years, to the extent that the top groups were skiing in powder up to their waists at times and all other groups experienced powder snow daily due to the heavy falls.

The ski groups ranged between five to seven students per instructor with each group skiing between five to six hours per day. Consequently, the progress made by all, including the beginners, meant that most of the party had skied the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski circus by the end of the week and all had risen to the challenge and completed the red 7 Km run.

Evening entertainment, including swimming, ice hockey matches, tobogganing down flood-lit pistes and a trip to Zell Am See ensured that the students were kept busy from wake-up at 7am until 9:30pm. Parents were able to keep up-to-date by logging into the successful 2008 Warminster Ski trip web page.
