The EXEAT weekend saw the Warminster School 35 Mile Ten Tors group head to Exmoor for their third training weekend. They were specifically practicing group management, teamwork, navigation and camp-craft skills.
Saturday was beautiful; sunny and still. Saturday night was extremely cold, while Sunday was warmer but somewhat overcast. All team members did very well and are fast turning into an impressive hill-walking group. They kept up a good walking pace, coped exceptionally well with the cold conditions and are beginning to see the importance of a supportive, organised team ethic.
Congratulations to all 8 students and many thanks to Miss Chapman who gave-up her weekend to help.
