On Tuesday 18th October, the Old Vicarage junior boarding house held its third annual conker competition. 16 pupils took part in the competition. Each pupil took alternate shots at the conkers attempting to strike the nuts to eventually smash the conker to proceed to the next round.
After two evenings of play, the two pupils in the final were George Williams and Kathryn Armstrong. After some exciting and hard hitting inter changes, George Williams took the title.
