Mike Thompson is the Head of Department and he has taught at the School for twenty six years . A graduate of the University of Hull and a Fulbright Scholar, he has a special interest in poetry and the novel and is subject co-ordinator at GCSE and A level.
Susie Parrack joined the Department in September 2001 from Marylebone School in London. She is Second in Department and teaches English to IB level. She has a special interest in poetry and drama.
James Holiday-Scott has been with the department since 2006. He qualified as a teacher through the Graduate Training Programme in 2004. Educated in Canada he holds a BA in English Literature and a BA in Philosophy. For several years he worked in the IT industry. James teaches English, Philosophy & Ethics, and Critical Thinking to A Level. He is Head of Critical Thinking and is the Gifted & Talented Coordinator.
Sally Pollard
Ms. Sally Pollard to the English Department. Sally has a degree in English and American Literature from the University of Warwick and teaches English in Years 7-11 and IB English. She is also a fluent French speaker and, prior to completing her PGCE, worked in both the Publishing and the Film industries, editing, marketing and interpreting.
Cristina George Cristina joined Warminster in September 2010. She comes with a wealth of experience in business and marketing as well as teaching experience in the Maintained sector. Cristina is a specialist teacher of English and teaches the subject throughout the School to IB level.
Damian Todres Damian is an experienced English and Drama teacher and has directed and produced a number of outstanding school plays and musicals in recent years. He teaches English and Drama to GCSE level and Theatre Studies at A level and we are proud to have him as a mmeber of our team.
