R E Mace MPhil, MTheol (hons), GTP, took over as Head of Department in September 2010. Having graduated from St Andrews University Rebecca has worked in a range of educational establishments from The Mulberry Bush, a residential therapeutic school to Malvern College, a full boarding school. Rebecca moved to Warminster in April 2009 with husband Jonathan, who is Housemaster of St Denys. Rebecca also teaches Critical Thinking, is an Extended Project supervisor and a GCSE examiner. In her spare time Rebecca is a keen runner.

James Holiday-Scott teaches Philosophy & Ethics at A Level. He holds a BA in Philosophy, with a specialism in Ethics, from the University of Calgary, Canada. He has been with Warminster School since 2006 and also teaches English and is Head of Critical Thinking.

Canon A.G. Watts B.D., A.K.C, P.G.C.E. is the School Chaplain. After graduating from King?s College London he spent 12 years teaching in Papua New Guinea. On returning to England he was ordained to the ministry in the Church of England and worked as a parish priest in Dorset and Wiltshire as well as holding a teaching post and training prospective clergy for the ministry. He was made a Canon of Salisbury Cathedral in 2000.

Canon Watts has taught at Warminster School since 2006, prior to that as Rector of the Minster he was a visiting chaplain at the school for six years. In addition to R.S. he teaches the Theory of Knowledge course for the I.B. His other interests include gardening, wood turning and cycling.

S Hopkins

Sandra joined Warminster School in 2002 having taught in International Schools in Sweden and Switzerland. Sandra is a Lower School tutor and teaches in four departments: Learning Support, RS, History and EFL, she also has a special interest in teaching Study Skills. In her spare time Sandra is a keen walker and gardener.

Mr. James Wilson

James Wilson has been involved with the church since the age of 8 singing in the church choir and playing the organ.

Having had a long exposure to the religious and ceremonial aspects of the High Anglican Church it was almost by default that he felt the need to explore some other aspects of religious and spiritual understanding.

For the last twenty years he has taken an interest in trying to understand other religions and come to terms with what spirituality is and how it seems to overlap the borders of different religions. Mr Wilson that he has gained a much greater understanding of people and even politics through the study of religions.

Mr Mark Hayward

Mr Hayward has a military background of almost 25 years serving in the UK, N Ireland, Cyprus, Germany, Italy, Kenya, Canada and the USA with a further period of 18 years spent organizing cadet activities, teaching and coaching sports. After leaving the Army appointed to King Edward?s School in Bath as Head of Maintenance and Cadet Staff Instructor. In

1998 moved to Wiltshire College gaining a Certificate in Education

(PCET) through Bath University while continuing to work with cadets.

Appointed to Warminster School in 2005. Mark currently teaches IT, personal finance, European Studies, RS and games. His interests include foreign travel (Ecuador, California and Ghana with Warminster School) most sports and outdoor pursuits.
