The Department of Religious Studies believes that learning should not be confined to the classroom.

In this respect we have undertaken a very successful tour of Italy in 2004, visiting the cities of Venice, Florence and Rome and viewing both the wonderful religious artefacts and famous sites together with the magnificent works of art and architecture which these cities have.

In 2007 we visited the ancient city of Krakow and visited the Auschwitz Birkenau concentration camps.

A future tour is planned to follow the Martin Luther King trail in North Amercia.At KS3 we undertake visits to local mosques and monasteries and also have visiting speakers.
