WSA-Sponsored "Robolab" Equipment

The recent Technology Week provided the opportunity for children in the Prep School to make full use of our new Lego Robolab technology sets. The W.S.A kindly sponsored the new equipment with over £1000 from its many fund-raising events.

The Technology Week theme of Space was the perfect setting for children to create their own Mars Rovers and allowed them to explore the use of touch and light sensors on their buggies as part of several tasks. Robolab club has now launched as an after school activity and the equipment is being used extensively across the curriculum.

The whole Prep School (especially the I.C.T department) extend their thanks to the W.S.A for providing this wonderful resource.
