YEAR 4 ART TRIP TO LONGLEAT

Children from Year 4 were invited to Longleat House to look at their fabulous collection of Tudor portraits. They were guided by the experts at Longleat House and were able to sketch from the original paintings of King Henry VIII and the Cobham family. This proved to be a wonderful opportunity to look closely at the originals and draw directly from them. It was a great occasion for the children to extend and enrich their learning outside the classroom bringing alive the History and Art curriculum.
