The learning support department at Warminster Prep School provides a happy, secure framework to support the special needs of children with dyslexia and a range of other specific learning difficulties. The pupils are fully integrated within the whole school curriculum.

The teaching team understand the difficulties faced by dyslexic pupils and use their knowledge and experience to help pupils to realise their own potential. There is good communication between learning support, parents and all teaching staff.

Teaching is tailored to meet individual needs, using a range of multi-sensory resources. We aim to encourage self-awareness and independence, providing learning tools that can be used in other areas of school and home life. Individual and small group lessons are available. Support and guidance is continued across the curriculum.
