The Prep School Drama Club was formed in 1980, with the purpose of extending pupils’ awareness and encouraging self-confidence and individuality through drama, mime, improvisation and traditional theatre skills. Annual presentations of a Year 3 & 4 Pantomime in November and a Year 5 & 6 Summer production in July, have achieved critical acclaim. Recent shows with casts of up to one hundred pupils, have included specially written musical adaptations of ‘Mary Poppins’, ‘Grease’, ‘Oliver’, ‘Calamity Jane’ and other Broadway hits.
