As part of the Warminster School Association's (WSA) fundraising events, parents, staff and students were able to enjoy a festive start to the November exeat week-end. A Christmas Fayre was held in Boniface music rooms, with 21 stalls offering perfect gifts for Christmas. A variety of unique purchases were on offer, including jewellery, handbags, stained glass decorations, handmade cookies and fudge, handmade clocks, scented candles, calendars, cards, cooking utensils, hats, jewellery handmade in Ghana, children’s toy boxes, blankets, and not forgetting, new for this season, the WARMINSTER SCHOOL TEDDIES (named Fudge or Toffee) with his own school logo on his blue jumper.
Whilst shopping, visitors were able to enjoy hot drinks, mince pies and enter a raffle, with prizes kindly donated by the stall holders. Profits from the fayre, and all WSA events, are used to provide additional amenities for the benefit of the school.
