Admission Procedure

Pupils are admitted to the Nursery from the age of 3.
They then join the Reception class in the September following their 4th birthday and the Prep School at the end of Year 2.
Boarders are admitted from the age of 7 (Year 3).
Pupils who enter after the age of 8 normally take tests in English and Mathematics.
Scholarships are available for entry after 7+ and 9+.
Examinations for Scholarships are available on application and details may be obtained from the Headmaster.

is proud of its successful record in bringing the best out of children from a wide ability range.
Great care is taken to consider the individual needs and circumstances of each child.
The school runs and Able and Talented Club and it also provides a Special Support Facility for pupils who are dyslexic, or who have similar needs.
Parents of such pupils should ask to meet Mrs Coughlan who is the Head of Learning Support in the Prep School
Fees are as inclusive as possible, covering meals, stationary and textbooks.
The extra charges are outlined in the appropriate Fees pages.
The Bursar welcomes consultation with parents over fees, insurance and capital payment schemes.
As the school is an Independent educational Trust, any financial surplus is used exclusively for the further improvement of the school.
Fees are kept to the minimum required to run the school effectively, employ first-rate staff and keep the facilities and resources up to the level expected by parents.
