Welcome to Northdown House. We opened our doors in September 2008 as the new junior girls' boarding house, catering for girls from years 7-9, and provide a caring, homely boarding environment.
My husband Damien and I have a young daughter, Niamh, a baby son, Alfie, and a chocolate Labrador called Coco, and we have been looking after the girls since the House opened in 2008, along with our very efficient House Matron, Mrs Bob.
We firmly believe that the girls in our care enjoy a secure, friendly and happy living environment which encourages the development of well balanced and confident young ladies.
We see the girls in Northdown as an extension of our family and, indeed, Niamh believes them all to be her big sisters!
The girls in the House enjoy a wide range of activities at evenings and weekends including beauty evenings, pizza and movie nights, barbeques, days out to the beach or Center Parcs, to name a few.
Northdown is a warm and welcoming boarding house and we would be delighted to show you around and introduce you to our extended family.
