The Mikado Review
The Warminster School production of the Mikado at the Athenaeum in early February followed in the footsteps of The Pirates of Penzance staged two years ago in being another magnificent tribute to the creative collaboration of teaching staff and pupils.

Academic Music
Music is taught to all students in Year 7,8 & 9, with pupils then having the choice to continue with the subject at GCSE level in Year 10.
After GCSE, pupils are able to take AS and A Level, or can choose music as part of the International Baccalaureate.

Beyond the Classroom
Warminster School Music Department thrives on the participation of pupils and staff in its many ensembles, from our larger groups such as Warminster Singers and Concert Band, to our more specialist groups such as Chamber Ensemble.

Facilities
The music department is situated in two buildings on site; Church Street and Boniface. Teaching takes place in both buildings, as do rehearsals. Often, the department uses local theatres and churches to perform to larger audiences, and each year "takes over" the Sports Hall for the annual Cabaret evening in March.
